Texans Care for Children brings Texans together for the purpose of bettering children's lives. Nonpartisan, nonprofit, and home-grown in Texas, Texans Care for Children acts as a voice for children, a source on children, and a network for people who put kids first. For over 25 years, the agency has led policy advances to ensure more Texas kids are healthy, secure, and thriving. Through policy analysis, statewide coalitions, grassroots campaigns and research, Texans Care improves conditions for children in the areas of health, mental health and development, poverty, child protection, and juvenile justice.     TX: Texans Care for Children will host the 2014 Children’s Policy Conference & Founder’s Award Luncheon on February 26th.  The event will convene Texas advocates and business and community leaders to discuss the health challenges facing children in the state. Regular registration ends January 15th and the conference agenda is available now.

    TX: Texans Care for Children announced a one day Children’s Policy Conference which will be held February 6, 2013 in Austin, Texas. The agenda will focus on ideas for building opportunities for all Texas children; review Texas’s politics with policy strategists Harold Cook & Ted Delisi; and identify opportunities for outreach to state leaders and communities.
