National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP)

The National Academy for State Health Policy (NASHP) is an independent academy of state health policymakers working together to identify emerging issues, develop policy solutions, and promote excellence in state health policy and practice. NASHP is a non-profit organization that provides a forum for constructive, nonpartisan work across branches and agencies of state government on critical health issues facing states. With support from The Atlantic Philanthropies, NASHP has established Children in the Vanguard, a learning network of 10 states’ Medicaid and CHIP officials committed to maintaining focus on children’s coverage in the context of health care reform. NASHP’s work also includes supporting State Refor(u)m, a website where state officials and stakeholders collaborate and share information, resources and their experiences around health reform implementation. See below for more information about NASHP’s recent activities, accomplishments, and tools!
