TCP Comments on Uninsured Hispanic Children Report

CA: The Children’s Partnership (TCP) issued a press release commenting on a report on Hispanic children’s health coverage released by the Georgetown Center on Children and Families and the National Council of La Raza. The press release names California a “standout state” because its rate of uninsured Hispanic children is just over 9.5%, almost two percentage points lower than the national rate. Kristen Golden Testa, California health director for TCP stated, “[o]ur state made sure we partnered with local folks that know the individuals in very specific communities, rather than just putting things in Spanish.”
